Teaching

Teaching is bedrock at Princeton University, serving students during their four years and inspiring them and all people they touch. Experiential food-based courses are particularly noteworthy because they reach and teach on all five senses.

Already, Princeton offers myriad classes across disciplines with some academic focus or tangent on food systems; PSF now gathers the list on its website. See the Fall 2018 food-related courses here. This listing serves to introduce students to the interdisciplinary nature of food systems study and also to inspire interest in scholarly collaboration.

Mike Celia (CEE, ENV), director of Princeton Environmental Institute, is in the process of reviewing and cross-listing a distillation of those courses for a new food track within the ENV certificate.
